I am a frequent IVR voice for AT&T, contracting with Pfizer, UPS, JC Penney, Chase/Bank One, NStar, United Airlines, NCO, H&R Block and many others over the years. I voice many commercial TV ads, both national and regional, including McDonalds, MS Society, Oreck Vacuums, Harley Davidson, Harris Teeter, Fox News and more. I've voiced Corporate presentations for Microsoft, Museum of Science and Industry/Chicago, the IRS, and Frederick Maryland Tourism to name a few. I've been a national and local radio announcer, news reporter and air personality for 30 years, including Network Announcer at ABC-TV, several shows on Sirius Satellite Radio, a jazz show on the Sony-Warner Network's "Smooth FM" and much more.
I've worked in broadcasting since I was 19, took Broadcasting in college, and attended a Bob Collier Workshop in NYC for Voice-overs. I started out as a News Reporter and Anchor, became a Disc Jockey and Air Personality, and I am also a copywriter and newswriter.
I have a home studio with an AKG C4500 microphone, Symetrix 628 voice processor and Adobe Audition editing software that can produce MP3, WAV and AIFF files for quick turnaround. Very large files can be e-mailed through a public FTP.
I do a lot of Industrial and Commercial VO's for TV, Radio, the Web and messages on hold. I have my own studio at home and can produce MP3's, AIFF's and WAV files for quick turnaround. Some of my voice-over and production work has won local and international awards. I enjoy copywriting and producing commercials too.
I'm particularly suited for Healthcare ads, when a comforting tone is needed...for informational projects, when an authoritative News Reporter type is called for....and products marketed toward women, when a "just between us girls" tone is required. Car Dealers seem to like me too!
