My dad always said I was a performer before I could crawl. Whether it is discussing the events of the day or embellishing a long-winded joke for my granddad with colours and characters... I have always used my voice to entertain, inform and motivate.
I grew up in the theatre and demonstrated an ability to magically transform into believable characters of various race and age and memorise scripts almost as fast as a photographic memory.
I took these talents into the corporate world, and for the last 12 years have used my voice talent largely in training, motivational speaking, phone work, IVR recordings, and E-learning development.
