I am receiving coaching at Sound Advice, Chicago, IL.
Some years ago, I recorded a rebuttal to an on-air editorial at a local radio station. The radio station personnel sat up and took notice of my voice and the authority I projected. They were surprised the commentary took only 1 or 2 takes.
The sound engineer who recorded my demo tape in April 2009 said that I take direction very well.
I have done some public speaking, and find that people like my voice and my presentation.
Long experience reading books to my children.

I did a stint as a TECHNICAL WRITER at a company where I had worked in the Quality Control Dept. The machine, sold to Korea, required very little on-site service work, due to the clear manual I had written.
I am a clerical temp worker, and I substitute teach, 6th-12th grades. I have worked as a secretary in law offices and factories. I like factories best. I have input production data (how many items machined, of what part number) into the database.
I get along very well with strangers, even cranky ones, and do not get rattled. I am patient and respond well to direction (something Mike Elmore noted).
