What HAVEN'T I done in my 20+ years in media, starting with television, with the bulk of my experience in RADIO (hurrah for theatre of the mind! Makes for a more versatile voice actress).
I record from both my home studio in Raleigh, NC, and the studio at WRAL-FM, the radio station where I work, so I get to do a huge variety of projects and character types.
As a freelance voice talent, I do commercials and promotional spots for clients and radio stations across the country. As a member of The Barter Bank, I'm able to work with radio stations and voiceover agencies internationally as well.
I also do on-hold messaging for a variety of clients through Alternate Access, a phone and communications solutions company, and in-theatre advertising voiceovers across the country. I also do medical recordings for both on-hold messaging and in-office promotional videos.
I'm a Broadcast Journalism graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill. I've worked for Capitol Broadcasting Company in Raleigh for over 20 years, both in television and radio. I'm an on-air personality, as well as commercial voice-talent and producer. I have vocal training as a singer and actress, and have attended several International Creative Radio and Production Summits, weekend-long workshops hosted by Dan O'Day, with speakers culled from the top of the industry including Dick Orkin and Christine Coyle.
My studio equipment includes a Heil PR40 microphone; Symetrix Audio Processor; Adobe Audition editing package; Final Cut HD Studio editing suite (includes Soundtrack Pro)
I'm extraordinarily versatile and reliable.
Try me and see! It's that easy! If you need a female voice, late twenties to mid-fifties, any type of character and delivery, give me a shot and be WOWED!
With my home studio available 24/7, I'm available and dependable-- qualities not just valued in pets and vehicles!
