I worked in the production studio of WYGY Radio in Cincinnati, Ohio where I voiced many and varied projects from high energy blow-outs to soft, tear jerker PSA's. In my home studio I have done projects for the City of Oakand, California Police Department and have narrated lengthy scripts for an internet radio station known as Public Radio of Camp Dennison, in Cincinnati.
In 2000, I graduated from Ohio Center for Broadcasting in Cincinnati, Ohio. While working in the industry at WYGY in Cincinnati, I studied Voice Over with nationally known voice actor, Ron Harper. I currently study voice acting at Voice Trax in Sausalito, California with Samantha Paris.
My computer, which powers my studio, was designed and built by Peter Barnes of Software Science in Cincinnati, specifically for my studio. I have a Mackey DFX-12 mixer board which includes effects and EQ. I have Sound Forge, Saw Pro and Audacity recording and editing programs and am well versed in their use. I can blend music and sound effects with any voice project.
I was a recruiter and motivational speaker for the Oakland Police Department, Oakland, California. I wrote, voiced and produced, in my home studio, radio commercials for the Oakland Police Dept. which were played on over 20 radio stations throughout California and Nevada. Earlier, while working in the production studio at a WYGY in Cincinnati, I wrote, voiced and produced radio commercials and was also a part time DJ.
