My entire career has been in voice. For the last 30 years I have been a singer/actor with professional roles in over 80 productions of theatrical drama and comedy, operas, musicals, operettas, experimental works, music recordings, and voice over work (At&T, Tony's Pizza, Burger King, Havoline Oil, Petters, Glorm Video Game).
I have worked with theater, opera, and orchestral companies such as the Minnesota Opera, Guthrie Theater, Kennedy Center, Minnesota and St. Paul Chamber Orchestras, England's Aldeburgh Festival, Baltimore Opera, Opera Theater of St. Louis, Muny Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Walker Art Center....

I am a professor of voice at St. Olaf College, MN and direct the Opera Workshop.
In addition to being a performer I am a composer and author of over 70 works including all types of songs, song cycles, musicals, operas, choral works etc... which have been performed throughout the USA and the world.
I am also a stage director and writer.
