James has long-standing clients in the genres of e-learning and education and has delivered voices for games, commercials, corporate pitches, investment products and conference videos. His narrative style is suited to all forms of narration, including, shorter form commercial work. He's narrated over 50 Audiobooks for a wide range of clients, ranging from independent publishers, to educational content.
James studied drama at Trinity College of Music and Drama and completed programme education with the multi-award winning, international voice artist training providers (GFTB).
From a professional studio in Hampshire, Southern England, he offers clients remote working services, as well as self directed work. James uses an AKG - C414-XLS Mic, routed through a Pro MPA II Pre Amp, before capturing the audio within Cubase 11. The fully treated studio, incorporates an Apollo Twin interface, Adam A8X monitors and Sennheiser HD660 headphones. When mixing and mastering audio, James uses Izotope software such as RX, which allows him to achieve high quality, professional standard audio for his clients.
