In my years in radio, I've been a Hawg ridin' Southern Drawl havin' Bar-B-Q scarfin'Biker, a Drill sergeant and one of his whiney privates, an overbearing British father and his whimpering son, a Jamaican, that sexy-cool laid back "brotha" with advice for the lovelorn, Darth Vader, a movie trailer voice, a news announcer, a radio station imaging voice, a telephone on-hold message voice, and many, many more.
I'm a 1993 graduate of American Broadcasting School where I attended countless voice coaching classes. Since then I've been a voice coach and a lecturer. Prior to that, I was fortunate to live in many places rich in dialect. ...I was born in London, England, spent 7 years in Tokyo, Japan, 5 years in Wiesbaden, Germany and I now call Texas home. A little of each has found its place in my repertoire.
I have a home studio. I use sterling microphones, a multitrack digital editor, Yamaha Keyboards and a sound effects library.
I'm an instructor at American Broadcasting School, I currently do voice work for CBS Radio in Dallas, Tx., I've produced voiceovers for websites, I'm a creative copywriter, and I can produce original music for commercial beds in my studio.
