My voice over experience comes actually from my life, which, so far, has been pretty remarkable.
While holding guided meditation classes, I am using my "Meditating Mantra voice", which transforms all in attendance into a completely different world. This is a very popular class, as I describe beautiful new horizons and sensations to explore (mostly everyone is lulled to sleep unknowingly).
While teaching singing lessons to children, I am the "Friendly Girl Next Door", to gain the children's trust and for them to let down their guard to learn and have fun while doing so. They love their weekly lessons because it is always positive and a safe, friendly atmosphere.
While working as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher during peak times, I am the professional businesswoman, who is competent and sure, and holds everyone's safety within her voice. At times when things are at a complete standstill, and routine checks are being done (usually at 3:00 a.m.) I change it up, and for a treat for the guys on the road, I am the Seductress, and they all call in just to hear me speak again.
As the Mother of 6 children, I have read my share of books, and each character has a voice, such as the old lady voice and the little girl voice....I also do a boy's voice that's quite funny.
As a Choral Director, I am the emcee and take the audience through a delightful night of entertainment.
I am a Royal Conservatory Trained Vocal Teacher.
I have successfully competed in Speech competitions.
I have a college degree in Business Administration - Engineering.
I have been an extra in movies, and performed in theatre.
I play many instruments, such as piano, guitar, flute, bass guitar.
I have a Fostex Digital Multitrack Recorder MR-8 HD.
I have worked for the Police for over 20 years. I am very skilled at speaking to authority figures and diffusing difficult situations.
