I began acting on stage at the age of seven, continued on through high school and ended up at the Dome Theatre School in Montreal. I have performed Shakespeare, Musicals, Slapstick and had a couple of small roles in some movies.(Anybody remember Meatballs 3? Me neither) I called Keanu Reeves 'friend' for 2 afternoons in the early eighties while filming a short for the National Film Board of Canada (best work he's ever done, no, really), and have played guitar and sang for many a bar patron from the Emerald Isles to Vancouvers East side to the smoky taverns of Montreal. Although I had taken some time off from the Arts in the nineties, "just when I thought I was out...they pulled me back in". (Said with a raspy, almost lispish Pacino-esque mumble) I can do that too.
I have been recording voice work for the last two years. I took formalised training in the eighties while at the Dome, which included several years of vocal training. Since then I have had a voice coach periodically to keep me on track, and have kept my voice sharp by singing and recording.
As mentioned, I sing, write, and have a wealth of different memories and experiences stored somewhere between my left ear and my right. All of which add a splash of colour to any role I am fortunate enough to perform. I have a family, enjoy sports, have brown hair and have put on weight since high school. I have worked for banks, social services, universities, hospitals and my father. (Don't ask what I did for my father.) I can cook, eat, drink wine and play password all at the same time.
