I wish I could say that I have been doing this for a while and have a tremendous amout of experience. The truth is I have always wanted to do something along these lines and felt that this could my opportunity to get insde the door. I have experience working in recording studios - I have produced songs for both myself and artist in my area and have a musical background where I have toured with the likes of Tina Turner in my younger days. The one thing that I can lay claim to is I know how to be professional and working in tight time constraints.
In addition to the above I have been the voice of God in church and have done a few small time plays when I lived in Niagara Falls, NY. I have no formal training nor have I attended any classes related to voice overs. I view myself as a "diamond in the rough" but oh what a diamond.
I do not have any studion equipment of my own at thei time but I am certain I would be able to locate one in my area. Again, I have worked in studios with music and have been involved with editing and mastering my own work.
Outside of producing my music that is my greatest asset-through this I have learned the quality of the recording, enunciation, diction, etc. I have learned how to take care of my voice and have listened to the people around me that have given me insight to pursuing this venture. For years I have been told that I would have the perfect phone/radio voice. I have finally decided t use some of my singing skils that I have gathered over the years and see how far it can take me in the voice over arena.
