I have had good vocal manipulation abilities for over 8 years, I have taken advantage of this as well and continued to train my skills. While I have no formal voice acting jobs, I have worked in customer service jobs, namely over the phone work. I have worked a tech support agent for a satellite television company, where we are verbally abused as well; In this job, if we are not using our normal voice, we are forbidden to break our voice tone. As for my whole career there, I have never once taken a call in my normal voice and I have never voice broken my tone. I have also used this job, to train my vocal skills as well to the point, I can calm my customer down with little effort and have been awarded for my skill in this.
I have no real formal training or experience in the voice over career. As stated I have experience in vocal careers and have used those as minor training, but I do have no formal training.
I have exceptional deescalation techniques from my work in tech support. I am able to manipulate my voice to the point, that I have had people apologize to being rude, because I had became to timid and made them assume they upset me.
