I have tried British voices in middle age male and females. I have experimented with the NPR radio voice that is calm and smooth. I can wing a southerner's accent in a young male and middle age females voice. Old rustic men or pioneer style slang. I have also fooled friends and colleges as an elderly British female and old man as well as a sexy female. I have tried Richard Steels announcers voice but need a script when trying it.

I am a Detective! A real life detective for the City of Tucson in Arizona. I have used my voice in authority and in calm. I have used it to fool friends and co-workers when making calls. I can make up wit on the fly but will always be better with a script. I have taught academy recruit classes and have projected my voice with out a microphone and have been able to narrate the lessons. Some college with a pursuit in Criminal Justice. I have a Certificate of Education in Criminal Justice though Pima College in Tucson AZ. I am a General Instructor for the Tucson Police Department. Strike me down with laryngitis! I am very new to the industry and have no access to equipment unless directed to a studio. I have a mentor who could let me use either his RØDE NT1-A or other standard sound room. I have a voice that has had to remain calm during tense situations and am used to stress will keeping a monotone or clear voice. I love being able to try anything new and appreciate what thousands of true talented voice artists have been trained for.
