For over 5 years I hosted and produced two number one Arbitron rated radio programs at Clear Channel's 92.3 The Beat then continued to host, create and produced a nationally awarded hip hop talk show for Pacifica Radio Network for 8 years where I voice numerous local and national radio promotions for radio programs, concerts and educational series. It was working at Clear Channel where I got my experience voicing numerous national radio spots, local commercials, concert promotions, public service announcements, radio promos, radio bumpers, skits and station ID's. I have been trained to follow and execute any producers directions quickly and professionally fullfilling the producers highest expectations.
I also hosted television interviews with Multi Platinum recording artists and voice television promotions for international event producers Guerilla Uninion national concerts: Rock The Bells and The Smoke Out.

Mr. Fidel Rodriguez is an expert in the areas of radio and event production, cultural awareness, youth development, physical education and self discipline trainings. With over 20 years of experience in youth and adult development, Fidel has broad experience working with “at risk” and "gang" involved youth and adults creating currilculims and facilitating trainings on culture, history, self-discipline and physical education.
Mr. Rodiguez is knowledgable in recording and editing audio: vocals and instraments. Mr. Rodriguez has worked on numerous media projects and radio programs including producing “Seditious Beats” live via the internet with the Independent Media Center, and appeared on Pacifica’s national radio show “Democracy Now” with Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez from the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles. Fidel was a consultant and segment-producer for a featured story entitled “Hip-Hop in America” for Australian Broadcast Corporations (ABC) international affairs program "Foreign Correspondent", which broadcasts in over 50 countries.
Fidel Rodriguez and "divine forces radio" also have received media awards for his commitment to social and community issues from United States Congresswomen Maxine Waters for "years of dedication to raising consciousness, promoting unity and providing our youth creative avenues for positive change through the radio airwaves” and former State Senator Tom Hayden for his “enormous and continuous efforts to touch and transform lives through conscious radio”.
In 2005, dfr received its second award for seven years of dedication to conscious radio in Los Angeles from Congresswoman Maxine Waters, stating "divine forces radio (dfr) in recognition of the seventh anniversary of one of the best programs on radio today featuring conscious hip-hop music and promoting political awareness, and for all the positive and devoted work dfr has done to uplift, enlighten, and educate while entertaining its listening audience and the community". divine forces radio was recently nominated for Best Radio Show in Los Angeles by the LA Weekly for 2005, and received a Certificate of Appreciation presented to divine forces radio on May 2006, “Thank You For Making A Difference” , and was recognized for their 9 Year Anniversary on February 21st, 2007 by Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa and Most recently, Fidel was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation on May 22, 2007 for his “commitment and dedication to serving the City of Los Angeles at 30th Anniversary Celebration of Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month” from Antonio R. Villaraigosa Mayor of Los Angeles.
Mr. Rodriguez also produced knowledge breaks on Sway (MTV) and King Tech's world famous "Wake Up Show" with his "Seditious Moment," broadcast to 15 million listeners worldwide. He was a Segment Producer for the nationally syndicated radio show “Peace Watch” for Pacifica Radio and was a full-time public affairs producer and host at KPFK in Los Angeles.
He is also a consultant and trainer for the Los Angeles County Probation Department; City of Los Angeles Culture Affairs Department’s Youth Arts and Education; and the City of Los Angeles Human Relation Commission. In addition, he continuously facilitates cultural, life skills, and hip hop radio production workshops with “at-risk” youth ages 14 to 21 for various SEA Charter Schools, the City of Los Angeles-Youth Opportunity Movement in Watts, and annual international students from various universities in Japan. Fidel currently is coordinator of “Project One: one love, one mic, one song” , a youth program for Los Angeles County Human Relation Commission (HRC) and the non-profit Oneness. This collaboration was established to promote social justice in music through the creation of an eight member youth band known as The Bricks, who are being produced by professional and Grammy award winning producers. Presently, Fidel is mentoring the band members through their process of writing 8 human relations themed songs on violence against the homeless, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia/heterosexism, racism, social justice and human relations.
His over 20 years of professional and personal life experiences combined with his travels through the United States, Native American reservations, Mexico, Korea, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, the Netherlands, Spain, Basque, and France, has helped him articulate and critically analyze many of the socio-economic and environmental problems that are effecting the world. His experience as a public and keynote speaker and teacher has allowed him to develop a style which synthesizes his past as an “at risk” youth with his ability to speak critically on domestic and international policies, popular culture, hip-hop and indigenous cultures.
Mr. Rodriguez is a student of Kung-Fu and is of Chumash and Mexican descent born and raised in Santa Barbara, California.
