About Emily
Hi! I’m Emily Steelhammer. I am a voice over artist located in Oakland, California. A lifelong student of the performing arts, I have trained in voice over with Sally Clawson and Jim Edgar at Voice One in San Francisco and at the Berkeley Repertoire School of Theatre. I also study the Barrow Group approach to acting with Alyson Schacherer. I am a choral singer and have sung with the Oakland Community Chorus and San Francisco Lyric Chorus. With an educational and occupational background that includes dance, sociology, teaching, childcare, and physical therapy, I offer characters rooted in natural emotion, a knowledgeable and authentic narrative presence, and a facility with medical terminology.
