Has done a wide array of radio commercials and industrial narration, with several jobs as video game characters, as well.
Most directors who work with this talent come back for more. Professional but easy-going, VERY funny, attentive to direction, knows her stuff and how to behave in a booth, can get the job done as quickly as it is needed. If there is time being taken in the session, it is more likely the client's time making decisions and changing direction than it is about the actor not producing what is needed. She gets it done right.
Clients include Sprint PCS, Got Milk?, Genentech, Oracle, Microsoft, America West Airlines, Mervyn's, Pacific Bell, Blue Cross, Washington Mutual, The Company Store and many others available upon request. No currently running conflicts.
Studied Theatre Arts at San Francisco State University, Lyric Theatre (Musical Theatre), Maurice Tobias Voice-Over intensive, AFTRA Conservatory, trained singer, many roles on stage and film. An acting coach, teacher and theatre director as well, so very in touch with what is required to produce results.
Singer in musical theatre, had been cabaret singer in San Francisco, and former stand-up comic, having performed on the west coast in several venues. Has developed many different characters along the way and has been known in the theatrical circles in San Francisco Bay Area to be a very quick learner and fast producer (has stepped into 3 long-running shows and been able to learn lead roles in one week, for example).
LOVES the work and takes it seriously! Is a very good writer and able to work on improving copy, if requested by/acceptable to writer(s), but also very attentive to whether or not that will be acceptable (e.g. when or not to interject suggestions). Hears rhythm in words and responds to them easily, creating characters by 'hearing' the intended rhythm.
Has own studio for home or on-the-road auditions, but little experience with doing anything fancy beyond basic editing.
Uses Sony Sound Forge and a Blue snowball mic, used on the road while touring with theatrical shows (playing Dame Edna's daughter in "Dame Edna: My First, Last Tour" through end of June 09).
As noted above, extensive experience in the corporate world, having been an operations manager for many years while continuing a busy acting career. In ops experience, handled multi-million dollar budgets, managed people and projects and worked in several different buildings, as her staff and expertise covered many different offices/locations. Clearly understands senior management objectives for shareholders and internal stakeholders.
At the same time, is a mother, actress, teacher and coach. It is important to her to be well-rounded, interested in many things, demonstrates interest in other people and their needs and listens attentively. As such, she can understand and handle copy/text in many different professions, industries and areas of interest.
She had put herself through college being a SuperSHuttle dispatcher (incredknowledge of San Francisco Bay Area), which demonstrated her amazing skill for multitasking and tracking many different vehicles and drivers at the same time, while always being attentive to the customers' needs for on-time performance.
She has MANY friends from all over the world and loves to be in contact with 'humanity'. She is also ridiculously funny and an award-winning actress and playwright.
