I began working in radio in 2001 in Toronto, Canada at 102.1 The Edge, Q107 and AM640 and started recording voice-overs for these radio stations shortly there-after. I've worked hard to hone my skills over the past 15 years taking acting, improv and voice classes, learning audio production and writing copy for radio and tv. I have a passion for television/radio commercials, promos, narrations and documentaries and been featured in many. The pinnacle of my career so far has been voicing the narration on a 22 episode documentary on nature conservation called 1000 Days for the Planet airing on Pivot TV in the US.
I've been personally coached by the best in the business from Jamie Watson (ACTRA voice actor), Rob Johnston (former producer of The History of New Music on 102.1), Derek "The Blind Movie-Reviewer" Welsman (Former Dean Blundell Show Producer and Co-Host and current Imaging Director for BOOM 97.3 in Toronto), Adam Kecskemeti (Imaging Director at Virgin Radio in Toronto), Bob Cook (former CityTV Imaging Producer), Pen Pen Chen (American accent coach), and too many more to name.
Trained in acting at Sears and Switzer in Toronto.
Trained in improv at The Second City, Bad Dog Theatre and Impatient Theatre in Toronto.
Trained in comedy writing by Rich Talarico (former writer for Key and Peele and Jay Leno) and by Tamara Federici (former Chappelle's Show producer) at The PIT (Peoples Improv Theatre) in New York City
