Responsibilities
• Transcribing several forty minute video interviews for the Producer/Director of The Fifty Most Loved and Hated Sports Stars
• Researching dozens of suitable headlines for each sporting star that would be utilised during the course of the programme
• Undertaking additional research for other teams within the same production department for the forthcoming Virgin School
• Accompanying the Production Manager of Hoarders (a forthcoming production) on an interview with one of the show’s contributors
• Labelling all of The Fifty Most Loved and Hated Sports Stars raw video footage information and individual transcripts and adding these to the Zig Zag Productions library
• Performing a quality control test on past video tapes to ensure that these did not need to be redubbed from the original master videos
• Working as a runner on the My Bare Lady TV shoot which involved assisting the team with various tasks: including Boom Mic operating, going on essential runs and compiling digital photographic stills of the show’s performers
• General runs to The Italia Conti School to provide essential stage props for the girls’ final rehearsal
Elliott spent December 2005-August 2006 providing voiceover work for commercial radio stations, Polydor and for the digital broadcaster Cartoon Network.

• Learning how to efficiently drive the radio desk for Dave Johns between 10am til mid-day twice a week
• Assisting with the on-air brainteasers at County Sound and providing some background banter
• Performing air checks on other Disc Jockeys’ shows in order to understand how radio presenters put together show material
• Helping to put together ‘The Best Bits’ teaser to promote the afternoon DJs’ shows

• Dealing with text messages and emails sent in by Breakfast show listeners, and Vanessa Feltz show listeners
• Assessing the suitability of callers for on-air discussions

• Liaising with JoAnne Good’s producer to finalize prize winners for various competitions
• Looking after all BBC London radio guests in the Green Room

• Worked on three television programmes at White City: ‘Speed Up, Slow Down’, ‘Top Gear’ and ‘Watchdog’
• ‘Telephone bashing’ at ‘Speed Up, Slow Down’ in order to assess the suitability of potential candidates for the lifestyle makeover show
• Composing questionnaires for prospective show candidates and then building a profile on those individuals from their answers
• E-mailing people who had expressed an interest in ‘Speed Up, Slow Down’, and assessing whether they would be appropriate contributors for the documentary
• Sending out leaflets to Northern cities: Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool to improve public awareness of ‘Speed Up, Slow Down’ in the UK
• Undertaking specific research for other teams within the Contemporary and Factual Entertainment department
• Reading and replying to letters sent in by ‘Top Gear’ viewers
• Handing out questionnaires to ‘Top Gear’ audience members to gain up-to-date feedback on previous show
• Writing detailed transcripts of tape-recorded telephone conversations between ‘Watchdog’ researchers and programme contributors
• Visiting a dilapidated housing development in Essex and taking photos together with a fellow work placement colleague of the run down properties which would then be used in a forthcoming programme
