Character voices for community theatre.
We run a wide selection of professional-grade mics, interfaces, and pre-amps, along with several DAWs we can use to clean, trim and prep the audio so it's ready to go directly into your project.
Currently using Reaper, Rezound, Audacity, Melodyne, GoldWave, and a couple other DAWs and tools, the latter few for effects. Various soundcards, and CAD, Shure, Oktava, G.E., MXL and other mics and pre-amps (condenser cardioid mics). Preamps are Focusrite, Sanyo, Danelectro, and a few others. We have ribbon mics for old radio broadcast style reads that sound truly authentic.
Featured mics are usually Oktava and Shure, models selected to fit the project.
Have experience running audio equipment. Mostly worked for video game voiceovers, some previous experience with audio equipment in community theaters. SFX, background and adding music.
I read well, and I don't need too long to get the feel of something, and can alter tone, timbre and mood to suit. Turnaround time is always fast. Quality is my top priority.
Character voices are a specialty, so if you're not sure if you want it read as "Dad-like" "Grandpa-ish" "Teenager high on sugar" or "Great Aunt Matilda" I can deliver all four samples. Just ask. ; )
