Dixie Rapp, affectionately known as "The Mix," has been told all her life that she has a distinctive voice. It’s a sweet voice, with a side of sultriness and humor; a voice that draws you in. Dixie started developing her vocal skills in school plays and later as a teacher. She first became interested in doing voice overs when a school principal who, after listening to her presentation, commented that she should consider narrating books. Years later, as an Education Coordinator, Dixie created fun and interesting learning programs that showcased her natural speaking voice. That was enough to motivate her to train with Such A Voice and develop her ability to "nail the read" consistently. Dixie is now available to record Audio Books, Documentaries, Radio and TV spots, Technical/Medical Narrations, whatever you need from her home studio.
