I began voicing TV commercials at WOI-TV in Ames, Iowa as a university student back in 1994. I later moved on to KCCI TV-8 in Des Moines, where I voiced several hundred local spots for the station over an eight period.
More recently, I've voiced corporate videos and city promotion spots here in South Korea.
1994 graduate of Iowa State University. Majored in Journalism & Mass Communications with an emphasis in Electronic Media. I am currently an MA distance student with the University of Missouri at Columbia.
I have a home studio, which includes a Behringer mixer, Shure KSM27, and Shure SM57 mics. I use Audacity and Nero Wave Editor for my spots. I generally like to provide my clients with a good clean read, which they can tweak to their heart's content. I can add some effects if desired.
I'm not expensive. I am open to low budget projects, but not "no budget" projects.
My goal is to provide decent audio and a good voice at a very reasonable price. I live far away in Korea which is about 12 to 13 hours ahead of US Central Standard Time, so you should e-mail me and not call (you'll get my parents). Extremely time-sensitive material should be noted as such. I can finish most short projects quickly, however, and should get you something before the next day.
