I began my career as a poet, and spoken word artist, performing in the Southeast, competing with the sound of clinking beer bottles, and the swooshing of espresso makers, making people stop in mid-sip,laugh,choke,spit up a little coffee, and listen. I have performed with many of the souths most well know poets, at coffee houses, and colleges, and performed and recorded with John Goode and Ayodele Heath,(natioanl poetry slam finalists) on Java Monkey Speaks, and been broadcast on Public Radio South. I have also acted in several plays, and films, including the cult film "Come Get Some",written and performed with "Sketchworks", and wrote and produced a play "Bar None", a screwball comedy, in the Spring of 2008 at YourAct Theater, in Atlanta. I continue to write and perform poetry, and will be appearing beginning in April, in two productions for "Atlanta Theater To Go", a local touring company. I studied Voice Over with Della Cole, and continue to study acting with Bob Harter of YourAct, and Michael Lucker of Encylomedia. I have a passion for theater and the arts, and am fascinated by the many ways that humans communicate. Like it says on the side of my "65" Ford Pickup (in big letters) "Art Is Life!"
