Engaged by our (Teradata) IT department in the 90's, I started doing support center hunt group recordings. Then in 2009 I recorded learning management system demos with my own VO. In 2010 I received some professional training (Multi Media Arts) and in 2011 started doing IVR recordings for Freedom Voice Systems (FVS). To date, I have done nearly 400 recordings for FVS. I have also provided the voice for one YouTube advertisement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJ36IDjgSPE.
2008 took a 6 wk voice over workshop course in Voice Discipline, Theory, Style, Narration, Commercials, Animation, Auditioning and Marketing Techniques at Multi Media Arts (Dru Scott), in San Diego.
I have a GK standard model soundbooth, use a Samson C01U USB Studio Condenser (mic) and use Adobe Audition to record, edit, produce my files. I have primary and back-up laptops to ensure I am always in commission.
I have worked in the computer (data warehousing specifically) industry for the past 28 years, working for the same great company - Teradata. Most of my career was spent in their Global Support Center and Learning organization. In the Learning org. is where I started creating the website demos, using my own voice.
