I've been a television show host, Disc Jockey, actor, comedian, rapper, and singer .
Started acting onstage at age six, studied theater rigorously through college. Extensive voice training. Recorded rock and rap albums. Did college radio, was presenter of a television show, "MP3TV", on London’s Network of the World. I’ve also been a magazine editor and art-gallery director.
I use a Sure KSM27 Cardioid Condenser Microphone with a Golden Age Projects Pre-73 pre-amp. Gives me a nice warm sound. I record using various software suites depending on the job-- I like Sonar, Steinberg Wavelab, and Sony Soundforge. Once I've tracked the copy, I edit using Adobe Audition.
I improvise well, am used to live broadcasting, and can even beatbox. A little.
