i have been recording since i was 10 years old starting out with a cassette recorder making comedy tapes. discovering that recording with low battery level and playing back normal sped the voice up like alvin and the chipmunks. then i opened the machine up and manually slowed the capstan with my finger in a manner now known as flanging. that's when i first discovered the wonderful world of sound effects and audio production. collecting information and equipment along the way i have recorded for A&M records, Atlantic Records, Sheraton Broadcast, WDVE radio, countless radio and television ads. i have a remarkable collection of vintage recording gear as well as many musical instruments. my privately owned studio is large enough to record choirs, full bands and orchestras. a natural acoustic soundstage is ideal for foley and other post production. multiple isolation booths provide a choice of super dry anechoic to large ambient and anything in between. in addition to the analog treasures i also have pro tools, alesis hard drive and mackie hard drive all with 24bit/96k converters. yamaha O2R with light pipe handles I/O from all sources digital and analog. all mics go thru neve and studer mic pres and La-2a!
