In my sophomore year of college, I began interning at a local radio station (used to be V-103 and has since had numerous incarnations). I did everything including voicing commercials and doing air shifts. In my junior year of college, I began work at a different radio group (Neuhoff Broadcasting) where I continued my career after graduation. I was able to hone my copywriting skills along with my creative service abilities. I can write, voice, and produce a complete audio package if needed.
Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Communications; minor in English
SAW PRO, 4 channel board, and Unidyne cardioid microphone
After realizing that you can't really pay the bills in radio, I took a job in the real estate industry. Who would have thought radio would be better than real estate?! I've been able to continue to do projects for our church media system along with company marketing projects and presentations.
