I have worked in the radio industry for over 15 years. My BA in communications served as the perfect starting point for a very satisfying career that has included work as an afternoon drive time host, morning show co-host, program producer, television veejay, concert emcee and professional singer. I thank God for all the amazing opportunities He's given me!
I am currently on the KSBJ Morning Show in Houston. Previously, I was on the Air 1 nationwide network.
My background in theatre also comes in handy for voice-over work. A first place in a drama competition in high school led to performing through college. Then in 2010 a dream came true when I played Maria in Rocklin Community Theatre's production of "The Sound of Music".
I studied Communications at the University of Puerto Rico from 1994 to 1998. My on-the-job training in radio started in 1995 at The Rock Radio Network in San Juan, PR, where I had the opportunity to learn under Station Manager, Janet Luttrell and Program Director, Les Sowiak. I was a voice talent for on-hold marketing companies, Smart Hold and Hold Plus, doing voice work for companies such as Toyota, The Puerto Rico Department of Tourism, and local businesses.
These opportunities were in both English and Spanish.
I run pro-tools in my home studio, in addition to having same-day access to fully-equipped local studios in the Houston, TX area.
In addition to providing excellent voice over recordings, I am a professional singer. I would be happy to submit a singing demo for jingles and other musical studio needs.
I am an experienced copywriter and can offer my copywriting services to help you with your Spanish or English copy.
In addition, I am also able to translate documents from English to Spanish and Spanish to English with ease.
