I was the voice of Southwest Airlines for two years, covering all television, radio and internet ads for the general and urban market. I also voiced the legal speed read for all spots that I voiced. I've also done promos for NCAA Dunks of the year as well as CitySlam which was produced by Intersport for ESPN networks. A brief list of brands I've recorded for include: Dell, Nintendo, Jeep, McDonald's, RCA Records, AARP, Budweiser, Illinois Lottery, and Crown Royal. Promo programs voiced include NCAA Dunks of the Year, CitySlam, The Season and The State Farm Tip-off Classic.
I graduated from the University of Illinois - Champaign with a BFA in Performance Studies. I've also studied at Kalmenson and Kalmenson in Los Angeles, Glenn Haynes and recently completed an animation workshop with Disney TV Animation Casting Director Aaron Drown.
I have easy access to a studio that has the following capabilities: ISDN (Zelos Zephyr and APT compatible units), Source Connect, ipDTL or Source-Connect Now. The studio can also handle phone patching and Skype conferencing. The studio also has Neumann and Senheiser mis throughout.
I've worked in various jobs that have required public speaking and complex terminology, including as a technical support representative, database administrator, real estate agent and pharmaceutical sales agent. Knowledge of various medical terms and the ability to correctly pronounce them has served me on several occasions in the voiceover realm. I've also completed one book on tape as well as voiced characters for a casino slot machine game.
