A while back I was working on a project regarding Black Native Americans. The editor and I was former colleagues and after an audition the producers were all hot and bothered and on board. Then all went cold. Fast forward a year later the editor and I run across each other and I casually ask about the project. Long and short I receive an invite to see it. Everyone is all uptight about my reaction to the voice used. It's James Earl Jones. Needless to say I was pissed. No, not because I lost the gig, I'd would have told them smack themselves one if they hadn't taken Jones, but coming in number two to that voice is a bit of an honor. I was annoyed they never told me how prestigious an actor edged me out!
