For the past 12 years I have used my voice in my career as a correctional officer for the California department of corrections and rehabilitation at San Quentin state prison. Althoght I have no recordings at my place of employment, I am used for tours of the prison because of my voice. I also have used my voice for public speaking in religious services for over 20 years. Just recently I was featured on Goodday Sacramento as their voice over guy for the day, reading all their teases on air.
I have received voice over training from Don Morrow, movie tralor and voice over great. I also received training from Ray Nakamoto, who was the voice of Sacramento for a number of years. I
I have a laptop and desktop computer with audio programming, Beat By Dre studio headphones, Audio technica microphone. I also live 2 miles form Paradise studio in sacramento.
I am very flexible in learning what a client wants and needs in a voice talent. I am dedicated to provided services without wasting the clients time, money or energy. I use my voice talent on a regular basis so I will never get rusty, but will continue to better myself. In my profession as an officer, I use my voice to intimidate and make inmates comply to my order, but also use my voice in religious services in a more mild, warm, yet deep and authoritative manner. Although my voice is deep, I have many ranges.
