I started as a receptionist doing the voice recordings for a multi-line international phone system. I also answerd up to 10 lines that rang constantly for a support call center. Everyone felt like they were the only person in the room and the only person calling. I worked hard to keep the smile and enthusiasm in my voice.
I moved onto to voice acting and doing voice overs for a magical theatre production in early 2000 as the mmmhmm girl in a piece of magic involving coffee and a torn newspaper.
Finally I have done voice mail and website introductions as well as emphasized presentations over the years to help out bosses as a pesonal and executive assistant.
I currenlty do all my 5 bosses voice mails and a buisness partner's "assistant" styled voice mail.
Last year I did an announcing and narration role at a live theatrical show for a corporate audience as VOG - voice of God.
I took voice lessions from age 14 - 16. They were for music.
I am not overly knowledge about audio engineering. I have access to someone who is.
I do know how to record an mp3 for use in automated voicemail systems and have done it many times.
My colleague at Wonder Entertainment did the VOG recordings for the live theatre produciton and magic show recordings.
I know how the cusomter feels, what sounds trigger emotions and how to display an enthusiasm that gets them to see themself using your product/service.
I am auditory by nature. I listen to audio books and hear a lot of inflections and tones and am astute and picking up the meaning and mimicking that meaning in a believable manner.
I would do great at almost any women's product/service commercials where women or young women are the target audience.
I love to help people achieve their goals espeically when our values are in harmony. I consider my voice prime "packaging" for products/services to get them noticed and considered. Once people know about you they'll tell others if your product/service delivers!
I also write marketing copy.
