I started voice over work around 1975 doing commercials for radio, ministries and the college I was attending. Did that for a couple of years and then got away from it for several years. In 1980 I produced a 30 minute multi-media production and did part of the narrative work. Later on, I did some work again for a modeling agency in Charleston, WV.
I did print work and voice over work for the agency and a local radio station. I then began traveling and speaking and got away from the voice over work.
Recently, I have gotten back into voice over work and feel I can do a much better job. My voice has matured and my ability to communicate has improved. I have done work on radio commercials, stage plays, t.v. and multi media. I have worked with Thurl Ravenscroft, Radisson Hotels, Charleston Area Medical Center, Charles Ryan and Associates, Folgen and Swank, Big River Radio, Mutlnomah University, College of the Ozarks, Oxford Graduate School, and others.
Have taken numerous public speaking classes in earning college undergrad, graduate and post graduate degrees. Took private voice lessons for three years learning how to project and breath etc. Also, have been in stage plays, had a daily radio program, monthly t.v. program, was an assistant teacher with Dale Carnegie Seminars, traveled as designated speaker with a world wide ministry.
Do not have own studio. Have access to a studio that is a leading studio in Huntington, WV. Broadmoor has recorded groups, individuals and bands from all over the world.
Have had a varied career from working on ranches to running companies. Have done radio, stage, t.v. print work, live remotes, taught college and high school, taught seminars, conferences, pastored several churches, and traveled with a couple of world wide ministries. Varied experience brings a greater understanding to a project with a sensitivity to direction and production.
