I've been a musician my entire life. My first vocal recording was with an 8-member choir in Hong Kong, where I served as a missionary in the mid 1970's. We recorded various TV and radio performances.
In 2008 I recorded a series of CD's entitled, "Living Inside Out: The Healing Toolkit for You and Your Relationships." This recording was for my own company, Chamberlain Leadership Group, and consisted of approximately 4 hours of recording.
I have voice training in preparation for inclusion in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir; something that never happened because of a 12-year move away from the Salt Lake City area. After listening to an audition tape, the choir directors requested that I take vocal training so that my "singing voice would match [my] rich speaking voice." I took the training for over a year.
I have a BS in psychology from Brigham Young University and extensive experience in the corporate world. I spent 25 years doing board-room presentations in my role as a big-ticket business development executive, where I persuaded "C-level" executives to spend tens of millions of dollars on IT solutions in the healthcare industry.
In addition to my vocal training, I've been involved in various church and community choirs and quartets over the last 30 years.
I am also a writer with experience writing very large, complex proposals, brochures, flyers, scripts, blogs, web site copy, ad copy, articles, and much more. I have my own e-mail marketing and newsletter content business called, Newsletter Magicians.
I have a very good quality "Snowball" microphone with Audacity software for recording and converting to MP3 or other audio formats. I use a Toshiba laptop with 500 GB hard drive, 4 GB RAM and Windows 7 OS.
I have extensive business knowledge and familiarity with terminology in numerous industries including: health, medicine, psychology, life sciences, legal, computer, education, technology, astronomy, biology, physiology, real estate, insurance, and many more. I have a thirst for knowledge and I'm an avid reader.
My career path has placed me in critical roles where presentation skills meant a difference of tens of millions of dollars in potential revenues. I have presented to groups of various sizes, including board rooms, auditoriums, and large workshops.
In addition to my newsletter business, I am co-owner of a company that promotes tools to enhance "emotional self reliance." In this capacity I have done workshops in 14 states and Mexico.
