I was narrator for an episode of the Emmy Award winning documentary television series, A Crime to Remember, on Investigation Discovery television, Season 4. The voice-over bug first bit when I hosted a radio show in New York for several years. However, until recently, my professional careers in college education, public speaking and health care administration deferred my desire to fully dedicate my talents to voice overs. So, I completed coaching with the fantastic Marla Kirban in New York City and now am dusted off, polished and on the go!
I've been trained and coached by the gifted Marla Kirban, award winning voice over specialist in New York City. Additionally, as a former adjunct college professor, popular U.S. and international public speaker and executive, I bring a quick read to and grasp of any commercial, promo or narration project. Knowing how to connect with audiences of all kinds has been and remains a real strength and, according to Marla Kirban, I respond immediately to direction and coaching in order to deliver the best product.
I am a graduate of Marywood University in Pennsylvania and received my M.A. from Fordham University in New York.
I have a Mac Pro with Garage Band and the following:
a Blue Microphone USB Snowball Microphone; a Nady MPF-6 6 inch Clamp On Microphone Pop Filter; and an On Stage MS7701 Tripod Boom Microphone stand.
With past experience in radio, along with abundant skills and competencies in college teaching, public speaking, and executive level work in the health care field, I am adept at cold reads, interpreting message, mood and nuance and am a reliable, responsible professional. I'm willing to travel to any studio (east coast preferred) or work from my studio at home to make your project a quick success!!
