Though new to the voice over industry and therefore just starting out, I do however have general everyday experience of creating voice recordings and reading out loud such as:
Communications – strong articulate verbal communications with friends and work colleagues gained from everyday use.
Voicemail – Leaving recorded voice messages on phones.
Public speaking – Reading/speaking out loud for presentational purposes such as, various projects throughout my four years of study at university.
Gary Terzza VoMasterClass - One to one training with voice director Gary Terzza (Voice of channel 4, E4, More4) and an audio producer in a studio that specialises in training beginners such as myself to read scripts in a diverse manner, effectively.
Upon completion of my training in this class I recorded a voice showreel which can be heard on my demo list, located on the right hand side of this page.
Home recording kit that includes:
Professional sounding Alesis microphone with pop shield.
Software programmes used for editing music and recordings
As an aspiring 3d character artist and 3d character animator, I enjoy using my artistic flair to create a diverse range of characters both visually and psychologically which is where I believe my new interest for voice over has stemmed from.
Making a voice over wither it be for a character or script, the performer still has to take on some sort of persona/and or creativity to deliver the desired results. That’s the bit that excites me the most as that’s the point at which I can give rise to my artistic flair on a whole new level.
I also enjoy film so go to the cinema a lot and like to draw, paint and practice clay sculpting.
