Brentt has done a few narration projects, and sold on hold projects. Just last week Brentt auditioned for Meijer Stores. He is about to audition another piece for his Detroit agent.
Hawkins has a unique bass-baritone vocal range. He has done voice work for: Concordia University at Austin,TX in 2004, Ronald A. Hawkins D.D.S dental practice of Lubbock, TX in 2001, and vocal narration for church audio visual departments with Ben McCauley Media Productions in Lubbock Texas in 2007, as well as narration for a small publishing company.
Brentt is also a reader and voice actor for the Dallas based non-profit radio station Reading and Radio Resource.
He has also been a Children’s Storyteller for the Texas Tech University Medical Center, and has performed Children’s Storytelling within several different school districts while also working as a Substite Teacher. Brentt also has read for children at Borders bookstores while working as a bookseller.
He has a very sincere, pleasant,natural and conversational voice. He can convey a big range of emotions. He is competent with developing character voices as well.
He has a commanding voice and a 4 octave range. He loves singing Sacred Choral Music with his Church Chancel Choir, and has studied classical voice and musical theater at St. Edward’s University and Texas Tech University. Brentt holds a BA from St. Edward’s University in Austin Texas. Brentt has also studied Voice Acting with Bettye Zoller, Jim Conlan, Ev Lunning Jr., Ron Grant, Uncle Mike Daniel and Bob Shattuck.
