Bill has been doing voiceover professionally for seven years. He has been the voice for Simmons Mattresses, Translink, BC Museum of Mining, Western Landscaping, Kryton Concrete, and many others. He is also the voice for many Marketing On-hold clients. His experience has covered radio commmercial, documentary, Marketing On-hold, and ESL training. He has also been employed in over 30 feature films as a WALLA performer.
Bill's voice training began many years ago, when he was required to give presentations to customers, both individual and in large groups. He decided to concentrate on the voiceover craft in 2003 and began taking classes to give him a good base of knowledge to work from. Classes at Vancouver Film School convinced him that acting skill was required, so he enrolled in acting classes to improve his ability to bring the character to life. Since that time he has done many workshops with the like of June Whittaker, Mark Oliver, Dean Paul Gibson, Anastasia Bandey, and others to help to hone his skill. In addition Bill teaches classes in the voiceover craft, and home studio setup.
