I began my V.O. career in 1999 in Chicago, IL. and have worked in the Chicago, Phoenix and L.A. markets. My resume includes work for clients such as McDonalds, Anheuser-Busch, Ameritech, University of Phoenix, Boston Medical Group and Trane Inc. as well as many industrial projects, ADR, Looping and WALLA for gaming and animation and voicing the children's television character "Palican the Pelican" in the local Phoenix market. I've spent the last several years working in film and television as well as V.O. and have a compiled a respectable on-camera resume as a compliment to my voice work.
I've trained extensively in Improv with The Second City in Chicago & L.A., The Jesterz in Phoenix and I continue to train in Improv with David Razowsky of The Second City. I've trained theatrically with teachers such as Cameron Thor, Leslie Kahn, Patsy Rodenburg and Lewis Smith. In V.O. I've studied with Kalmenson & Kalmenson, Joyce Castellanos, Bill Holmes and Kate McClanaghan. There's much more in the way of workshops, seminars and private coachings but that's the big stuff.
I have a home studio equipped with a fully treated recording booth with both condenser and shotgun mic's (Sterling Audio ST-55, Sennheiser 416) into an ART tube pre-amp, Ashly compressor/limiter and Focusrite interface to a new Mac DAW running Lion with Twisted Wave and Adobe Audition CS 5.5 editing software where I'm able to produce clean, high quality auditions and, if needed, air-able quality dry reads. I'm able to send my work via email or FTP in multiple formats (mp3, wav, aiff) and am phone patch capable via Skype. I live in L.A. and have very close, easy access to several professional recording facilities for my bookings.
First and foremost, I'm a character actor. I approach each V.O. script as I do any other. Whether it's one line or long-form narration, there's a story to tell and a point of view to convey. It's my job to clearly communicate this in a way that's uniquely my own. And... I can do a pretty good voice match of Seth Rogen.
