At the age of 15, I was given the opportunity to work at an AM radio station in which I gained experience as an "on air" DJ with experience in news and production of commercials. By 18, I was employed with an AM/FM combo station doing everything from live DJ to news, morning show and commercial production.

Radio has always been a passion of mine. Starting at an early age, I wanted to be the next Johnny Fever on WKRP in Cincinnati! As a teenager I got my first job at a Southern Gospel AM radio station doing everything from a DJ to news and production work. I grew up in the country playing in creeks so the challenge to overcome a deep country twang was quite a challenge.. Over the years, I believe I have achieved that.
I pursued a career as a fire fighter and worked as one for several years adding such certifications as Hazardous Material Technician, Fire Instructor and CPR/BLS Instructor to my resume.
I currently work as a law enforcement officer and teach the D.A.R.E. program to hundreds of city school children each week. I also produce a weekly request/talk show on our local FM station where I remain employed part time.
