Since my adolescent years, I've prided myself on my ability to do impressions of my favorite characters. I've been told that my voice is extraordinarily deep and powerful, well-suited for voice-over work. During my 2 years at Saygent, a Silicon Valley voice analysis startup, I cut my teeth narrating introductory videos showcasing our technologies. My voice is my instrument, and I love to test its range of ability.
Although I have no formal education pertinent to voice overs, I've been training my voice since realizing its potential.
I use open source software, such as Audacity, to record and edit my voice overs. My microphone is a simple headset, for now. I'm reasonably knowledgeable in digital signal processing, and applying filters to my work.
I have 3 years of professional experience writing software, as a self-taught developer. This experience, especially in regards to audio processing and voice recording at Saygent, has honed my knowledge of digital audio.
