It all started when I was around 11 yrs old. I was living with my grandparents and being the only child there I had to learn to entertain myself. Aside from taking up music, I began telling myself stories, but instead of just telling them I would act them out doing different voices for each character. Then as I got older I developed my character Ethel, who would make calls to radio stations and request songs (with the wrong titles)... radio DJ's thought this was funny. So when it came time for me to have my own radio show in College, I incorporated the use of my characters and also developed a radio voice. I also had experience making radio promos and public service announcements at this time that were and still are used on the air at the station. While I was at the College radio station people would always compliment me on my voice, and I received DJ of the month for the month of October 2003.
