It all started with a few prank phone calls in high school putting on foreign accents...
leading to impersonations of friends...
and colleagues...
and then reading stories to the kids in funny voices...
and somewhere in there I started doing voiceovers for fun and profit...
I've been doing voiceovers in some capacity since 2005, primarily through narration of online learning modules. I am now looking to expand my repertoire into ads and promos.
I have done voiceover training in 2012 with Marla Kirban Voiceover in New York, and ongoing with Gary Mac in 2013-2014.
I use a Neumann TLM 102 microphone for voiceovers, a Behringer podcasting microphone for backup, with Xenyx pre-amp equipment. I record all my voiceovers using either Sony Sound Forge or Audacity.
I am musical (have played piano and guitar for years) and like to think I'm a good writer (first book in the works). I also work as a project manager and understand the needs of adhering to deadline.
