My voiceover work started in 2001 while in high school. While serving as a news reporter for my school, I began work at KYOX 94.3 FM in Comanche, TX, doing the 5 p.m. drive time show (2001-2003). Shortly thereafter, I began recording voice for radio spots for the radio station - everything from home health care services to donut shops to the local ATV dealership. The on-air and voiceover work has proven an asset in my current ministry work.
That same voiceover and audio training came into play while pursuing my degree in news/editorial journalism from Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Tyler (2003-2008).
Throughout the years, I have recorded myself in my project studio as a singer/songwriter, and after going into full-time music ministry, used my voice and studio gear to write and cut a radio spot for our church that aired on BigFish FM here in Paris, TX (2011).
Tarleton State University (2002-2003) - Course work as a music major
Tyler Junior College (2003-2005) - Associate degree in journalism - also served as a writer for the student newspaper.
The University of Texas at Tyler (2006-2008) - Bachelor's degree in news/editorial journalism, minor in international affairs. I served as editor in chief of the student newspaper (The Patriot Talon) during my final year.
I have led worship (singing/playing guitar) in churches for more than 10 years. I entered full-time music ministry in April 2008.

My career in ministry necessitates public speaking on a weekly basis, keeping my speaking skills sharp. My journalism experience lends itself to interpreting copy and bringing out the key aspects through the voice performance. My past work in on-air radio and voiceover helps me to identify whether or not the voice performance has the "it" factor for the best possible finished product.
I have the ability to record and edit voice work from my own project studio and am willing to travel as well.
