In college an artist friend of mine insisted I record "Squirrel Nutkin" stories for him so he could listen to them before he fell asleep. As a joke for his birthday I did some recording, and from then the idea was born that eventually I might want to do this for a living.
Fast forward many careers and lives later and once again I was approached by a friend, a producer, who told me I should look into Voice Over. I got accepted and started training at Edge Studio and am in the process of recording a demo.
I am currently training with coaches at Edge Studio.
I have a very basic set up. Audacity on my laptop, a M-Audio Fast Track convertor and a Nova class A microphone. I record in my basement in a little padded cocoon.
I am a freelance writer. I also a CrossFit Level 1 and Strongman certified trainer (would love to record anything related to fitness).
