A warm, and professional greeting was paramount in landing my job as a flight attendant for American Airlines as both an English and Swedish speaker. I had many opportunities to practice my voice talent aboard the aircraft with the public address system. As a clinical laboratory scientist, I have had the chance to lend my voice talent to a more scientific, clinical setting. Later, as a mother, I continue as a voice actor reading children's books and stories. I have worked with messages for voicemail and voicemail greetings.
I began my training early, as I was always the one chosen in elementary school to be the "Narrator" of our school plays. As a flight attendant for American Airlines, I was selected to give the public address announcements as both an English and a Swedish speaker. I am a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology and can read scientific and health related journals with clarity. My voice has been used in healthcare messages for voicemail and voicemail greetings. I also have done voice acting in both the church and elementary school setting, reading children's books and stories.
I have a home studio complete with Adobe Soundbooth software, a Samson CO1U studio condenser microphone and a new iMac.
I speak English, Swedish, and can speak English with a British dialect. My 18 years working in medicine also gives me the skills to correctly pronounce complex medical terminology.
