When I was kid, my friend David and I would do voice overs on our own with different Disney cartoons. We would make up our own plots and it was so much fun. I have recorded singing in a few studios, but I have not done any other professional voice over work. I currently have a professional microphone in my own home that I use to record some songs.
I have graduated from Brigham Young University in Communication Disorders, so I have studied the voice and learned much about phonetics and how voices affect your perception of people. I took some acting classes at Hale Center Theater and also at Brighton High School I was in the Productions class which focused on acting skills. I have been performing since I was six years old. It started with a children's choir where I wore a sweet Lithuanian costume. This turned me to performing in plays and musicals. I took a few acting classes at Hale Center Theater here in Utah, and I was able to perform in a few musicals in high school. I loved being Ms. Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie because I had a lead role and she is a hoot of a character, but I also loved being a Nerd in Footloose. Being a nerd was just so much fun, from the one leg warmer, scrunchy, big glasses, and piano key suspenders to the high-fives with our hands in the "live long and prosper" position, it was a blast. I also had the opportunity to perform as Daisy Mae in L'il Abner at Draper Community Theater. This role was a huge type cast since I was short, blonde, and can act like a ditz far too well. I was also able to be a reader in a Reader's Theater about the history of the Relief Society, which is the oldest Women's Organization in the world.
I have a friend that lives a few miles away that owns his own professional recording studio. I also have a small professional mike that I use to record myself singing.
I am easy to work with, an extremely hard worker, and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that you are satisfied with my work.
