Most of my recording experience has been in music. My first recording project was in 1995 for a local compilation CD. From 1997-1998 I recorded a full-length album of original material with my band, Fishers of Men http://www.soundclick.com/fishersofmen
(genre: Christian alt/rock), which sold roughly 1200 copies. Since then, most of my speaking has been for live audiences, although I did go back into the studio during the summer of 2000 to record some tracks for a single http://www.soundclick.com/andrewlocke. I also sing before live audiences on a regular basis.
Most of my vocal training comes from extensive choral involvement over the past twenty years. I went through vocal training in high school, which were instrumental in landing solo performances at several regional choral festivals, as well as earning a ranking of No.5 for bass/baritones in the state of New Hampshire during the 1995 All-State Music Festival auditions.
I am able to accurately replicate foreign accents including British, Australian, German, Spanish, French, Indian, Swedish, Scottish and Irish.
I also have developed a fair repertoire of "comedy" voices for use with cartoon/fictional characters that are designed for comedic relief.
