Since 2005, I have been doing voice overs for Radio and Jamaican television ads for big international brands such as Pizza Hut, Burger King, Digicel, LIME...The list goes on. Also done countless voice overs for smaller local companies and brands to be used via the same mediums. I have also done voice overs for E-Learning tools for schools in Jamaica.
Began doing voice overs for the international marketplace using Fiverr. From DJs who want audio bits with Jamaican accents for their mixtapes or radio shows etc to doing voice overs in a convincing Standard North American Accent (Usually of the variety found in Washington and California) for E-learning tools, audio books, commercials etc.
My voice has been used by clients from across the world. I've done voice overs for people from close neighbors like USA, Canada, Panama and other Caribbean Islands to distant places like Kenya, Iraq, Vietnam, Japan and the UK.
As a teen I had stints as a commercial and runway model, steady work as a young adult voice over talent for local radio doing both singing and acting jobs. I also had stints as an on screen presenter for tv programs and videos, namely from 2005-2009 I was the presenter for Bachannal Jamaica's "Carnival in Jamaica" DVDs, documenting their events each year.
After graduating in 2008 with a high school diploma from the prestigious Immaculate Conception High School and high passes in 9 CSEC subjects, I went on to study at a private institution for another 2 years to earn passes in 5 CAPE or A Level subjects. Afterwards I began working with my family's multimedia company as the head of the video editing department and later as the production manager for television series we developed for the local market.
I later went on to work at local cable TV station 'Hype TV' in 2012 as a video editor. While there I was also given opportunities to act in the capacity of an entertainment news anchor, Set hand and Producer.
As for acting, I was a member of the Jamaica Musical Theatre Company's Junior Division (JJT) for 6 years where I had my skills in stage acting, singing and dancing refined under excellent instruction from local leaders in the fields.
I have a modest home studio where I have a Blue Snowball Microphone with a pop filter set up in a padded room. I use the program Audacity for audio editing.
For big projects I use Creative Sounds Ltd which has a full service studio with professional microphones. They use Pro-tools for recording and mixing audio files. Check out their website to view their set-up:http://www.creativesoundsja.com/
I also have experience writing scripts for both television and radio. So if anyone needs assistance developing a rough script into a smooth flowing finished product, ready for air, then I can help any client who needs help in that area.
