About Roger
My vocal qualities are described by others as friendly, knowledgeable, and convincing; authoritative, but not overbearing. A real person, the good 'dad-voice.' Down-to-earth, warm, clear, and smooth. Add a little energy and we get “enthusiastic” too. Add a little *more* energy and we move up to "monster truck night."
I am a former trial lawyer and middle school Science, English &.History teacher from Pasadena. During my previous professional career I used my voice to persuade and educate and entertain.
Now I work from my certified home studio, bringing my voice to great ideas -- perhaps your great idea. Full time availability and no commute means fairly quick turnarounds, and third party assurance on recording quality.
I am always happy to do a custom mini-demo from your script, if invited, in addition to the demos here. And with extensive writing and editing experience can, if desired, smooth copy for optimal vocal presentation, or tighten tighten a script for idiomatic North American English.
