As a child, Shelby’s favourite past time was singing Hakuna Matata from the Lion King while performing private magic shows for close friends and family. As she grew up, her father's work took her family all over the world and as a coping mechanism, she would often find herself adopting new accents to fit in with her new international group of friends. Shelby first began to wonder how she could use her talents of singing and impersonating Steve Irwin's documentary-style of comedic narration while on holiday many years ago, during a family in South Africa.
In addition to voiceovers and singing, Shelby also enjoys nerdy activities such as studying Post-Graduate Law in her spare time. In addition to this degree, she has also completed fours years of undergraduate studies in classical voice and musical research in Australia and the Netherlands.
